Looks like coach Salsburg picked up some speed to go along with all the power hitters.

Looking forward to another great season of BG Softball! The Orange Crush will soon be wreaking havoc all over the place.
I am very excited to see a player from my alma mater, Dover, on this year's roster! Melissa Bott tore up the ECOL and it's great to see her in the orange and brown.
GOOD LUCK COACH SALSBURG AND FALCONS!!!!!
Season starts Feb 22nd at the Chattanooga Classic in TN...the Falcons are 2 time defending tourney champs!!!

Gaudy statistics but I'm always wary of high school batting averages since they are often kept by the home team scorer, ie the coach, the manager, or some other player. Home teams always overstate hits that likely are errors and likewise when on defense hits become errors. That said, SBs are mostly accurate (although I do not think catcher indifference is used in HS to negate SBs with no throws). Wonder how Elliott has a .714 BA and a .714 slugging. That would mean all singles for a batter hitting safely over 70% of the time. Seems unlikely.
