Game 2, BG & BSU hit 7 HR's in the 2nd inning!!!!

Man, I know the winds were high out there in Muncie yesterday with all the home runs, and it's probably windy again today, but are they also playing on a softball field too?! In the top of the second inning, BG hit four home runs in the side, only to have Ball State come back and hit three more in the bottom half of the inning!!! Damn! The play-by-play is almost comical. Home run. Fly out to center. Home run. Fly out to right. Home run…… This series is shaping up to be a hitter’s dream and a pitcher’s nightmare.

Anyway, in game two, BG jumped out to an 11-3 lead but BSU has cut it to 11-6 after two innings played. It looks like no lead is safe in this one and we might have to score at least 20 run to win! GO BG!!!

What a surprise, another home run, this time by Ball State. That's four home runs for both team (eight total) already and it's 15-7 BG through just four innings of play!

LOL (but not really)......BG makes a pitching change as Hawk comes in for Light and the first Ball State batter he faces takes him yard for the Cardinals' fifth home run of the game. BG leads 15-8, still in the bottom of the sixth.

Incredible! Ball State hits yet another home run, this time a three-run shot, and it's now 16-11 through seven innings! We've got to close this one out someway, somehow. First one to 20 wins!

Crazy! What a crazy game. Thankfully we were able to get the win, although it looked iffy there towards the end. It's not too often you score 18 runs and have to hang on for dear life to win, but it happened in this one. Obviously, it was a big win because it seals the series for us. Our next MAC win would also tie our season total from all of last year. Now let's get the sweep and start getting ready for the MAC East series.

WOW...what the heck were these guys on this weekend??? We were at Kalahari all day yesterday and just got back from the Cavs win over Miami.

BG is indeed alone in 1st place in the East!!! 15-12, 6-2 MAC. BG taking 2 of 3 in Muncie was big.
