Yeah, they beat Fairfield University who has also struggled so far. Hopefully this win will help get some momentum going for the season and MAC play.

EKU beat Louisville and had a close loss to Kentucky.

BG beat Eastern Kentucky Sunday 8-4

Western Carolina also took 2 of 3 from USC....yes University of Southern California, so the Falcons early schedule has not exactly been full of patsys!

Keep it up Falcons! :D

Post by Falconfreak90 »

The Falcons lost to Bucknell Monday, 10-7, and were blasted by UConn yesterday, 21-6. :( The Huskies had 16 hits on the day.

BG is now 2-2 on the FLA trip and will play Sacred Heart tomorrow at 9 AM followed by a game Friday at 10 AM against Northern Iowa. Two Saturday games complete the trip vs Indiana and Bradley.

BG is now 2-8 on the season...GO FALCONS>

BG ended up 5-3 in Florida. What a great schedule they've played so far this year. 5-9 over the last 3 weeks. This kind of schedule gets you ready for league play. We still have 4 pitchers hurting but will be at 100% pretty soon. We will be a force by tournament time.

5-3 and a week in Florida...not a bad deal at all.
