Softball splits with Buffalo and RIPS KENT!

BG split with the Bulls, winning 7-1 and losing 2-1 yesterday.

Today, BG shut out Kent 8-0!! Haley Wiemer, went out and fanned 10 batters and the offense really tagged Kent pitching.

Tomorrow is SR day and Wiemer will be honored before the game...what a hell of a career she's had at BG.

Kent State gets past BG, 4-3 in eight innings. On SR Day, Haley Wiemer hits a two run HR. BG falls to 11-27, 6-12 MAC.

BG will host Wright State Wednesday for a DH and then finish the season at CMU and EMU next weekend.

The Wright State double header will be a homecoming for Sharon Palma who pitched for Bowling Green as a Freshman.

Nothing against our current pitchers but I really wished she would have stayed with us, we just don't have a #2 starter this year behind Hayley and don't have a #1 going into next year unless we have a stud recurit coming in. I mean Sharon threw a no hitter for us in her first colligete start. It will be interesting to see her against us on Wednesday
