Softball loses home DH to Wright State....

BG had a rough afternoon losing 14-3 and 8-3. The Falcons finish the season at CMU and EMU this weekend.

Eight more errors. What would be our record without Weimer?

beyond weimer

An old adage says you can never have enough pitching. If this adage is true you wonder why the pitcher who beat you twice yesterday was pushed out without ever given the opportunity to fail when she was a freshman at BGSU.

With the exception of Weimer she handled BG pretty well yesterday.

Perhaps the better question is what would BGSU's record be if Salsburg wasn't so lacking in objectivity. As I said last year she needs to be held accountable for her commitment to "my girls"

A friend of mine and I wondered this yesterday at the game, why did we not run a three person rotation two seasons along with Palma, Weimer, and Gouge, that would have been a deadly trio and could of led us to a MAC championship along with the best record in school history.

They have a true rise-ball pitcher (recruited by the prior coaching staff) who they've attempted to convert to a drop-ball pitcher. Why try to make all your pitchers throw the same stuff? Wouldn't some diversity be a good thing?
