It's not been the most fun softball season, but back-to-back extra inning wins over Ball State will at least help the Falcons get back on track. The two wins also knocked the Cards out of first place in the West.

On Saturday vs Ball State Erika became the first player in BG softball history to hit three homer runs in a single game, including the walk-off winner. Not bad for a player who had zero career collegiate homers entering the game.

Yesterday, BG got a walk off single and the winning run in the bottom of the 7th to knock Akron outta MAC tourney contention. BG won 3-2 and will finish the season today with SR Day against the Zips. BG has now won 4 of the last 5.

Good luck SR's and THANK YOU for choosing to be Falcons. I know this season hasn't been what you expected but it is great to see the team still fighting for wins.
