Women's Soccer opens MAC play with a W!

2-1 come from behind win over Buffalo! Nice way to open the MAC. BG now 4-6, 1-0 MAC. Buffalo drops to 7-2, 0-1 MAC. Falcons head to Kent State tomorrow at 1 and the Freaks will be there.

BG fell to Kent State Sunday, 1-0 in OT. Jake and I took in the match and it was pretty intense the whole way. Both teams had chances to score but nothing until OT. Kent State broke an 8 match winless streak vs BG and scored a goal against BG for the first time since Nov 2004. BG is now 4-7, 1-1 MAC, and will host tsun Friday.

Not a good weekend for Coach Richards and the Falcons...falling 1-0 at tsun and 2-0 at Ball State. BG now 4-9-0, 1-3-0 MAC. Falcons host EMU Friday.

1-0 loss isn't so bad to a 4-0 MAC team. BG is struggling for sure but have managed to get two draws in their last six games against UT- I'm sure there are some (or at least one) MAc teams that haven't done that well. BG will probably finish OK in the East.
