It's still baseball season for the Detroit Tigers and they are playing the best ball they have played in 5 years. It's ok if you want to jump on the bandwagon.

Any idea who the opponents of some of the non-conference series will be to get the season going?

Thanks for the update, I like the news about this series. I was actually in Stillwater this past spring and took in a baseball game while I was there. The baseball stadium was okay. It wasn't as nice on the same level as their football or basketball facilities are (they were very nice), but relatively speaking, it was decent. It’s better than what we have but it looked a little worn and dated. I’m guessing when it was built it was pretty nice at the time, but with the way college baseball facilities have been built and renovated over the last decade, OSU’s has fallen back. It looks like how BG’s facility would be if it was turned into something more substantial – meaning - OSU has a complete grandstand and a bigger press box, and they also have an extra section of seats down the left-field line. They also had a modest looking concourse and entrance. But it should be a nice trip for our guys and hopefully we can get a win or two down there.

I liked Oklahoma State and Stillwater, and funny enough, the town and university reminded me a little of Bowling Green. Out of many of the BCS schools out there I have been to, I think BG has maybe the most in common with OSU/Stillwater than a lot of others I have been to.

Thanks for the info and keep the updates coming if you hear of any more.

BG will play a single game at Ohio State again, this year on April 25th. Let's make it back to back wins over the Buckeyes.

Any more non-conference series updates? I believe last year's schedule was out by now. Hopefully we'll see something soon.

Hmm...a Wednesday night game. Gotta remember that and ask for the day off work.

Looking forward to baseball season. I wish BG made their Florida trip in early April when we'll be in the Tampa area.
