Was speaking with a friend today about BG golf / college golf in general. He had a few questions that I couldn't answer.
I know BG is an adidas sponsored school. Do they play all Taylormade clubs? I just always assumed they did with Adidas / Taylormade being one and the same. But, I see BG uses Ping bags.
Also, anyone ever attended a college golf event? If so, is it just walk around with the players, stay out of their way kind of thing? I wouldn't mind heading to a few, BG seemingly always plays a few tournaments near me.

It's no different than a PGA tournament except the crowd is a lot smaller. I was a rules official for the tournament we hosted when I worked in North Carolina. My usual ruling was to hit a provisional ball and we would make a final decision with the committee (which was how the coaches wanted things done).Falcon137 wrote: Also, anyone ever attended a college golf event? Parents would walk the course, staying behind the imaginary rope lines. Players walking down the middle of the fairways. Coaches shuffling between players on the course (via cart). Four players per hole from different schools.
