This weekend at Buffalo Friday and at Akron Saturday. BG will finish the regular season home to Miami and NIU>

Currently BG is 3rd in the East at 14-10, 8-4 MAC. Miami is 1st at 10-2 MAC followed by Akron at 9-3 MAC. With both Miami and Akron left on the sked, we can control much of our destiny. GO FALCONS!!!!!

Playing for a MAC title in the Stroh, starting right now...

BG loses to Ball State in 5 sets. That 5th set was really not our best work.

Still, a great season. 19-12 the final record, and reached our first MAC title game since 2012. Program is in good hands.

What an amazing fall season. Men's soccer, women's soccer, and volleyball played for MAC championships on three straight Sundays.

Volleyball's season continues! They will play in the NIVC, starting on Thursday night at 7:00pm when they host IPFW. BG was good enough to host the first 2 rounds.

The other game will feature Miami (OH) vs. TCU. The winner of our match will play the winner of that match in Round 2 on Friday at 7:00pm.

Get out to the Stroh and support this team in the postseason! Go Falcons!

10-17? Yikes. I was under the impression that the NIVC was sort of like the NIT for volleyball, but apparently it's more like the CBI.

It really just depends. I think it is closer to the NIT, but there are some teams that make a run and somehow get in.

Like, with a win tonight, our next opponent will be Colgate (22-7), Boston College (20-11), Tulane 21-10), or New Hampshire (17-9).

I'm not sure how TCU even found their way into the postseason, to be completely honest. It appears they may have the worst record coming into the whole tournament, from what I have seen. I guess it makes sense that they are the "worst" in our region, though, with their record. You don't typically see a Big 12 school playing in a MAC arena.

TCU played a lot of tough teams including #1 Baylor and yes they lost in 3 straight but the last set went to something like 34-32. Plus they have tons of height: 5 at 6'3", 1 at 6'2" and four more six footers. BG has 2 girls at 6'2" and 2 more six footers. They did have a battle with Miami (O) in the first round so I think BG has the home site and crowd working for it if they can overcome the height differential.

Volleyball bows out and finished the year with a 20-13 record. Great season, Falcons. Let’s win the MAC next year.
