Stephanie Young has left BGSU and accepted the women's golf coach position at the University of Idaho.

Erin Fahey (former BGSU golfer and assistant coach) was named the head coach today. I don't know much about our golf programs, but I just assumed Steph Young would never leave BGSU. Not the first time I've been wrong, and it probably won't be the last.

Would be interesting to know why Steph left for Idaho.

Wow, Fahey has to be one of the youngest D-1 coaches in the country of any sport. She just graduated a couple of years ago. Idaho has a pretty strong golf program if memory serves me correctly. They have a beautiful on campus course, and it looks like their previous head coach was hired away to Nebraska. I'd guess Young just wanted a new opportunity in a new place. 16 years is a long time to work anywhere.
