And then we lost to Bellarmine 3-0 at Cochrane last night. Just a bad night for us.

Coach called it correctly. We played like garbage for 20+ minutes until conceding a goal. Continued to be late/slow to everything leading to a crazy reckless challenge that I said immediately would be luck to not be a red, we weren't lucky.

And at that point it's essentially over

Sure did, Hammb. I watched most of it and we looked like we didn't even want to be out there. :x

Yeah that was not the sort of effort I'm used to seeing from those kids. It was "pooches at the pitch" night so there were quite a few people out there new to soccer, just getting their dogs out for the evening.

I felt bad for them, they didn't know what was happening and I had to explain to them that this is NOT how we typically play...

The team still has the ultimate finisher up front in Terry, but Painter has really taken a step back without our ability to control the run of play. Need more from Shaffer, and Ramos/Hernandez are not replacing what we got from Anaya either (not that I fully expected them to).

On the back line we knew we'd miss Cuisimano, but now without Gus as well...we're feeling that.
