Another loss yesterday and zero goals scored in the last three games. Only 15 goals scored all season with over half registered in an 8-0 win against a first-year program who are 1-16-1 with 80 goals conceded.

The combined 5 wins recorded over the past 3 seasons are still less than in the 2012 season, Coach Richard's last year.

What the administration has done to this program is an absolute disgrace. They will point to improvement this year but being better than a winless season is not really something to be proud of.

Unfortunately SoccerDad, the previous administration took action that we disagree with. It is not the fault of the current Athletic Director. We need to support Coach Basalyga and the young ladies that are on this team now. We have three seniors (two that played this season, one that was injured) who played through the turmoil and we saw this program gain four victories this year (four more than last year).

I understand your frustration, but we need to continue to support the young ladies who wear the orange and brown.

In reality, I believe that one of the "chief" decision makers, if not the primary one that let Coach Richards go, is still in the administration. I do agree with your support of the current AD, and believe (hope) that eventually more of the past administration will be gone.

100% correct! Our current AD should release that "chief" and get our womens soccer program back to the heights it was a few years ago.

No doubt. If we just didn't have anybody in the athletic dept who worked there prior to 2013, we would win in all 18 sports.

Ridiculous. We don't know all the details on decisions made four years ago. Forget about it.

We have a fine AD, an excellent staff of veterans and newcomers and we have to battle on every front to win at all levels- on the field, in the classroom etc. It is difficult but doable.

Quit worrying about the past and celebrate the present and build for the future.

Our women's soccer program has made excellent progress this year. With a dynamic coach hired by the old crew. We will win. And do it right.

If you consider a record of 5-45-4 over the past three seasons being progress then it is clear you have very low standards for this program. Dynamic this is not.

I didn't say the results were dynamic over the last three seasons. I said the coach was dynamic.

How many of those wins occurred in the last 45 days? We are improving. No one can question that. Do we want to do that faster? Sure we do. Every fan, every parent, every coach and every player wants that.

I realize emotions run high. But it is way way in the past as far as that coaching change years ago.

I am just saying that this coach/this staff do not deserve the criticism.

If you have followed the program- and I am sure you have very closely- you know what the situation/roster/etc was in 2011-12. And that has zero- literally- to do with this staff.

We are playing and we are progressing. If you are a BG soccer person, I would say support them.

You talk a lot. Sounds like you're trying to convince yourself.

My criticism isn't of the current staff but the administration. Those who fired a multiple MAC champion who won more games in his last year than the program has in the last three.

We have very different stances on this. Unfortunately you think you are right, and I know I am.

What is the point of all of this? I don't know why Richards was fired...does it matter now? He's gone...long gone...the current staff will improve the situation or move on.

Correct Flip. Doesn't matter. At all. My posts are designed to show support for a team and staff. But BGsocdad knows he's right. So I just talk a lot and just think I'm right. Just trying to convince myself. I have no idea.

Emotions are amazing. It literally doesn't matter NOW. Forget it and support the team.

If you care to. If not, stop posting about it. And I am done posting on it as of right now. I'll just support the program going forward.
