You may want to take back what you said about Krebs. Most people around here think he has done an outstanding job leading our athletic departmetn and are praying that he does not get offered the Ohio State job. Insulting Krebs will just be burying yourself a bigger hole here.golfertk14 wrote:i met Krebs at the Open House on Feb. 21st, he did seem like a dim-bulb...but not stupid enough to say something like that to an alum with a chip on his shoulder.

Look I'm not taking ANYTHING away from Mr. Krebs' performance as an A.D. it was just he didn't seem to know alot about the questions I asked him...which were mainly sport-tryouts questions. You can be brilliant and a dim-bulb at the same time you know.Warthog wrote:You may want to take back what you said about Krebs. By the way everytime I asked a question he kept stuffing his face full of his Wendy's Baked Potato.

The AD has coaches that know answers to those questions.golfertk14 wrote:Look I'm not taking ANYTHING away from Mr. Krebs' performance as an A.D. it was just he didn't seem to know alot about the questions I asked him...which were mainly sport-tryouts questions.

That's better. You need to be more specific like that to explain why you thought he was a dim bulb. The questions you were asking him might not have been ones that he would normally have to answer. But I would think he would have at least pointed you in the right direction to get the answers you neede.golfertk14 wrote:Look I'm not taking ANYTHING away from Mr. Krebs' performance as an A.D. it was just he didn't seem to know alot about the questions I asked him...which were mainly sport-tryouts questions. Maybe you came across to Mr Krebs like you have come across on this board many times. Too many questions that are not very well thought out, and way too many trivial responses to other things.
Mr. Krebs is far from a "dim bulb", and doesn't deserve any response or question that implies that in the least bit.

Now this is being asinine. Why must you keep bringing this thread up? We get that you felt wronged or hurt in some way that Kreb's didn't recognize the genius before him that is golfertk14. So you took your aggresion out here by calling Kreb's a name. We get it already. Now drop it!golfertk14 wrote:All i asked him was if he knew anybody I could talk to in the Sports Management Dept.

AGAIN, WE GET IT! DROP IT, ALREADY!golfertk14 wrote:Look all i'm saying is that he's the AD of the school, I think he'd be able to help me find somebody to talk to in Sports Management. Even if he didn't know anyone that's okay too, just don't pass me a men's basketball schedule and send me on my way.

Actrually as someone who is in the Master's Program for Sports Administration, I will tell you that the School Of Human Movement Sport and Leisure Studies is in the College of Education. The Athletic Department reports to Studen Affairs. The Athletic Department has very little to do with programming on the academic side of the University. There is even a bit of a disconnect between those in the Sports Management areas on campus and the Athletic Department.golfertk14 wrote:Look all i'm saying is that he's the AD of the school, I think he'd be able to help me find somebody to talk to in Sports Management.
