Now lets go down to Bradenton, Florida and pick up wins like we did last season. Last year we went 6-1 in our seven gameds and won our first six consecutive games. Good luck Falcons!

Somehow I knew that was a dumb question.

I keep telling my dad to get down there from hs condo in Largo and take in a couple games. Bradenton is only about 45 min from Largo.
Bring back a whole bunch of W's!!

I wish I were going to be down there, I'd love to catch some BG baseball and enjoy some warm weather already. I've actually never been to Bradenton before, but I've been to some ACC Baseball Tournaments that were held in St. Petersburg and Jacksonville, and have also been to Florida State and Miami for ACC weekend series.

Freak- He really should try and make some games. There is quite a following of parents, grandparents, friends, fans, you name it. My wifes parents even go to all of the games (they live in the area) because they know some grandparents of players etc. It would make a nice annual gathering for him to meet some great BG people, not to mention seeing some good baseball.

FM,
Can ya give me some info to pass on to him? Location of the stadium, street names? Or a # in Bradenton he can call to get more info? I can get the schedule from the website. Look for a guy about 6'3", 260 lbs...I tell him every year BG is down there! He's been in Largo since late Nov....How many times can you ride the dang bike trails and go to the pool?! LOL
We are heading down to Largo on 3/23and staying 9 days. Too bad the team isn't down there then. Mrs. Freak would probably get pretty ticked with me.
"Dear, what are we gonna do today?"
"Well, BG is playing again!"
"Do we have to go to another game?????"
"Yes, dear...."
"Honey, if we have to go to one more game this week, you and your palm are gonna get very familiar".
GO BG!~

They play most of their games at the IMG Academy, and anyone in the area could tell you how to get there, and one or two at Manatee CC, which is right across the street from the main entrance to IMG. IMG has a website, and is where many of the most prominent tennis players, golfers, and now football, basketball and other go for specialized training, getting ready ofr drafts etc. It is quite a complex. The have two baseball fields on the backside of the complex, near the golf practice facility. If he goes to the front gate, they would direct him how to drive around there as it is easier than walking all the way thru the complex. I would be glad to give you my cell phone if you want ot email me at
[email protected] tonight.
