BG @ CMU in MAC baseball action this weekend

Post by BGSU33 »

BG and CMU, both 4-2 in the MAC, face off in a pivotal MAC series this weekend in Mt. Pleasant. The Chippewas are the MAC West’s preseason favorite and will provide a tough test for the Falcons. Winning any MAC series is huge and I hope BG can get at least a pair of wins up there this weekend. Also of note, CMU has one of the MAC's nicest baseball stadiums. CMU, Ohio and Miami all have great ballparks that have been built recently. Here is a link to some pictures of CMU’s.

Boy! You ain't kiddin' on the nice stadium bit! I will say this, though - the stadium is killer but, based on the pictures, I'll be damned if CMU doesn't look more rural than BG! Obviously, I've never been there, but I digress...

Anyone care to start a private fundraising campaign to raise money to trump CMU on the baseball stadium front? Because, seriously, screw CMU...

I have always thought that Mr Pleasant and Bowling Green were very similar towns and universities. Those pictures really don't do their stadium justice....it is nicer than it shows!!
You can add Kent to the new MAC baseball facilities, and Wright State, Dayton, and Cincinatti to non MAC schools in Ohio with new baseball facilities. I'll be very happy to get the lockerroom project underway, and then start on the stadium etc.

My thoughts exactly, Drew. Impressive.

BO,
I've been up there for a couple football games and I can't tell ya much cuz we stayed across the street from the stadium both times. It is out there in the middle of nowhere...like BG.

Man would it be huge to get a pair of wins tomorrow. But I'll take it one game at a time. Lots of games were altered because of the weather, but on Friday night WMU beat Akron and KSU beat NIU. OU was leading BSU by a run in the 7th before the game was suspended. GO BG!
