BG vs. Toledo, Friday game thread

Bottom of the first, no score. WBGU guys say there is a good crowd on hand. GO BG!

I didn't realize that UT beat Michigoon in 10 this year. Huh.

Josh Deets just hit a two run homerum in the bottom of the third! I missed the last inning or two, but we have scored at least 5 runs with two outs in this inning!

7-2 Falcons!

BG is CRUSHING UT in the bottom of the 8th, 13-4!! Double play ends the 8th for BG. UT up in the top of the 9th.

YEAH BABY!! Kicking UT's arse. :-D

BTW, going into this weekend series, BG leads the all time series with UT in baseball, 103-79. In fact, as far as I know, the only sport UT leads BG is men's hoops (81-74). ;-)

GO FALCONS!!!

UT has scored 2 in the 9th on a HR but now there are 2 outs and the Rockets have a man on 3rd....BG still leads 13-6.

UT scores on a wild pitch....BG up 13-7.

Wrap it up, fellas!

Trust me Factman, I really wish I could be there! It was great listening to what I could of the game today on the radio, though. Hopefully WBGU will cover the whole series this weekend (perhaps I could check the schedule that NY posted. Meh...).

I should be at the Akron series if all goes as planned. We'll have to meet up Factman. I can't wait!

Today's game against Toledo will not be covered, due to the BGRSO banquet. Tune back in for tomorrow's game at 1.
