Whooo! BG pulled one out today against lowly Cleveland State at home. The Falcons rallied with two runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to win it 5-4. But a win is a win and I’ll take one every time no matter how ugly. Next up, another very important MAC series, this one against Akron. On paper, the Zips are a team we should beat, they’re 7-24 overall and 2-10 in the MAC. But these games aren’t played on paper, and just like Cleveland State showed us today, you’ve gotta play everyone tough if you want to win.

I left work here in Independence at 5:30 and the game was tied at 4. I never stay past 5:30 but almost did last night.
Got the win....end of story. I'll take an ugly win any day.

We must take 2 of 3, at the least, in Akron this weekend. The Freaklings and I will be there for Sunday's game.
