Teams rained out yesterday. Both games will be played today...if the weather cooperates. Game 1 starts at 4.

BG let game one get away from it......the Falcons let an early 3-0 lead slip away but stormed back to take a 6-5 lead in the top of the ninth after a three-run home run.....only to give up two runs in the bottom of the ninth and lose 7-6. We have had several ninth inning rallies against us that doomed us this year. Then in game two, we were stomped 12-0. The pitcher for OU threw a complete game shutout. Only one more game until our season ends, I hope can at least go out on a high note.
GO BG!!!

UGH.....What an ugly second game. BG falls to 26-26, 11-15 MAC.

End the season with a win today and let's look forward to next year.

GO BG!

Yes it was. But as ugly as the second game was, despite being a close contest, the first game almost stung more to me because we took a lead into the bottom of the ninth and held it for two outs and lost - again. Remember the Akron series a few weeks ago when this happened twice when the Zips hit two-out home runs? We also lost a couple one-run games to Miami and one to EMU but in a different fashion. Of course, we did win some one-run games too. But no doubt, getting shutout 12-0 was ugly. I just hope BG can win its last game of the year today.
GO BG!!!
