For those in the NW OH area this weekend, Andy is playing in Toledo. Also, please go to
http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/ ... ballot.jsp and vote for Andy as a AAA all-star.

No mention of his fans in Indianapolis, though....

From a couple weeks ago, a profile on Andy from the Ottawa site:
http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com/app/ ... p&sid=t501
Plenty of mentions of BG, and covers his career really well!
He hit his 18th HR of the year Saturday to lead the team, also leads in RBI. Unfortunately, he also has about as many K's as he does hits and is hitting in the mid-.260s.

Since the Triple-A All-Star Game in Toledo was last night, and yes Andy didn't make the team, but I think it's still perhaps appropriate to recap Andy's season thus far. Andy is 2nd in the International League with 18 homers, is 4th in the IL with 55 RBI and is 4th in extra base hits with 39. Tracy has also walked 47 times, tied for 4th most in the IL. Tracy is on pace for 29 homers, which would be the most in Ottawa's franchise history. Here's to hoping he gets the call up to the BIGS later this season.

I was reading in the Baltimore Sun a few weeks ago that said he had the "raw power" for an emergency call up. Hopefully, he'll get a shot.

The Princess and I had our BG stuff on at last night's Ottawa-Rochester game. Andy saw us and came over to the rail. We had a nice conversation and he seemed pretty happy.
I told him to play baseball as long as he could because it's about a million times better than any other job he could ever get.
