Nolan was named "Top Star"/MVP of the Carolina-California league all-star game yesterday by going 2 for 3 with a key RBI and Run scored.
His picture is on the front page on MILB.com and there is a nice article as well linked below.

He's also on the main Baseball America page:

And some notes from scouts observing his play:
On Reimold's RBI double in the fifth: "He's got some length to his swing at times, but there really is some live explosiveness in the beginning of it. From the time he gets his load out in front of his body to the ball, it's all explosion. I know a lot of people in this business are torn as to what he'll eventually be, but I think he's got a chance to be something special."

My team sent a player to that game, keep your eye on outfielder Jose Tabata from the Charleston RiverDogs, Single-A Yankees. Kid is the youngest player ever to be named to the Futures Game, he turns 18 in August and he is the real deal.UK Peregrine wrote:Just a reminder that the Future Stars All-Star Game is on a 4pm tomorrow (Sunday) on ESPN2.
We are hurting, losing him for three games.
