BG's Alissa Czisny finishes 3rd at Nationals

She finished first in the free skate but had too much ground to make up after finishing 5th in the short program.

Alissa had a very nice skate in the long , but yeah, 5th was just a bit too low of a place to try and end up 1st. It was cool hearing BGSU mentioned as well.

Kimmie Meissner and Emily Hughes finished 1st and 2nd. That's pretty good company for Alissa to be in. Too bad she was too far behind after the short program, and too bad this isn't an olympic year.
