Benifit for fellow Falcon!!!!!

Post by It's the Journey... »

This Saturday in Anderson Arena the BGSU Women's Gymnastics team will host the All-Ohio Championship. BG will match up with Kent State and Ohio State at 7pm. Also going on that night will be a benifit for team member Jessica McArthur. Jess was forced to sit out her senior year due to a kindney transplant in December of 2006. Jess steped up for the Falcons during the 2006 season and made a huge impact. The benifit, in Jess's name, will be for the Kidney Foundation of Ohio. Bracelets will be sold and there will be a silent auction. Jess is an amazing person and was a true team player. I feel extremely lucky to be able to say I know her. So, watch the women's basketball team advance to the Elite 8 in the afternoon and come to "The House That Roars" and support not only the Falcon Gymnasts but an incredible person and a wonderful cause. I will be the coming in from Valparaiso to be Meet Director and our very own Transfer2BGSU will be the announcer. I know how we rallied around the cause for MS and that is why I have no doubt Falcon fans will come through for this as well. I hope as many of you as possible can make it. Remember, students get in FREE with their student ID's!!!!! GO FALCONS!!!!!

The NFK is a wonderful organization and I encourage anyone who's able, to help out. I am a kidney donor, and used this organization many times in the past for information. If nothing else, you're supporting BG.

I'm fresh out of kidneys, but I have a slightly used liver.
