Friday night BG and Michigan State battled to a 1-1 tie in East Lansing.
Today, BG knocked off Youngstown State on the road, 3-0. I wanted to go but didn't have time to make the hour drive over. I guess all the driving yesterday kinda killed that. LOL! According to bgsufalcons.com, freshmen accounted for all three goals, while a redshirt freshman picked up the win in goal on Sunday. Jackie Tamerlano had the first two-goal game of her young career, scoring the Falcons' first two markers of the afternoon. Classmate Meagan Moran netted BGSU's final score -- her first collegiate goal -- in the game's late stages.
BG is now done with the non conference part of the schedule and stands 3-4-1, which is pretty good considering the level of competition.
The Falcons will open MAC play against NIU Friday to start a 4 game homestand.
GO FALCONS!!!
