Volleyball falls to OU 3-0

Great effort by the ladies this afternoon as they fell short in each of the three matches against the Bobcats.

Not sure if they set the attendance record but a nice crowd out to see the ladies on Senior Day. Kudos to the womens basketball team for cheering on the squad all season long!!!

Thanks to our seniors for a great season (and a great four years)!

Dang...that sux! We just can't seem to get past OU on the court. BG's only loss of the year at AA.

Congrats to the SR class on another fine season and best of luck in the MAC Tourney! BG is now 19-9, 10-4 MAC. It was great to see BG knock off Kent State yesterday after the poor showing over at Kent.

GO FALCONS!!!

Tough Loss.......

Post by Falconboy »

Yeah, we sure lose a great bunch of seniors. Hopefully Van De Wall has a very nice recruiting class to come in next year. This may be our only chance at a Mac Championship/Mac Playoff/Tourney Championship (or however they decide this thing in volleyball) for a couple years as it seems we'll be really young next year.

This must be what it feels like to be Ball St and Kent in womans basketball over the past 3 years. :? We should get one more shot at Ohio if we can get into the championship game.

Tough game for the girls, but the senior class has done a great job, and it was great to watch them here over the three years I have been here at BG

Season isn't over yet, last two games are this weekend at Buffalo and Akron, and also Thursday night in Athens a huge game between OU and Kent that will have an affect on the tournament seedings. An OU win over Kent, plus wins for us vs Akron and Buffalo will give the Falcons the 4 seed in the tourney, and a first round bye

Man, how did I mess that up? I forgot I'll be heading over to the JAR for the Akron match on 11/10.
