Right now, it's about 40 and rainy in Central Indiana. Any fleeting thoughts of heading north for this one have vanished.

Of course, if I sat through the Miami(OH) game last year....

BEAT TOLEDO!

The earth cooled... then the dinosaurs came... then they didn't put the score on either the BG or MAC sites yet...

Check that... it appears to still be going on. 2-2 in overtime.

I wonder if there was a delay, we had some lightning around here earlier.

BG scored first, then UT tied it, but BG went back up a minute later. UT tied it in the 88th minute.

Must be on the way to penalty kicks...

EDIT:
Somebody's lying. The release from the University says BG lost 3-2 in penalty kicks after 0-0 in regulation. BSU's live stats disagrees.

Unfortunately, I'll believe the university site. :(

Good effort Falcons!

Dumb way to end a game but you're right, Toledo wins it on penalty kicks. In fact both semis and the championship were penalty kick wins. Another reason soccer will never catch on like football or baseball here.

Man, the outcome sux!! But hats off to Coach Richards and team...they had a very successful year for a "rebuilding" year.

Congrats to the Rockets on the win..

How so? I'm confused. :-D Actually the Rockets did a very nice job in a rebuilding year as well. A team that is largely Freshmen take another MAC tourny after losing all their starters. Looks like NWO may be the palce to be for good women's football over the next few years.
