The BGSU Falcon gymnastics team starts their season on Saturday night at 7pm in the Eppler Complex. The Missouri Tigers come into Falcon country ranked in the top 20 to start the season.

There will be many new faces on the squad to go along with the coaching changes for this year. Lets get the season started off right with a huge crowd. Go to the basketball game in the afternoon in Anderson and then go have dinner before making your way to Eppler.

Tough loss for the ladies in their home opener this evening against Missouri.

It started in warm-ups when Kasey Fillmore went down with what appears to be a broken wrist.

Nice showing on the vault this evening by Jacque Bernhardt and a nice showing on the floor by the transfer from the University of Arkansas Brianne Guy.

The balance beam was our downfall this evening. We just couldn't stay on it. We also had two ladies go out-of-bounds on the floor exercise.

Lots of freshmen on this squad, but they will be ready to go next Saturday when they host Eastern Michigan for Parents Night. The meet will begin at 7:00 PM in the Eppler Center Gymnasium.

More information should be up on BGSUFALCONS.COM in a while.

Saw that happen and it looked painful, also looked like it could have been way worst then it actually was.

Missouri really impressed me overall tonight, when facing a team like that you have to be almost flawless. Here's to a rebound next week vs EMU

Unfortunately I think it was just as bad as it looked :( Last I knew she was still in the hospital and expected surgery early Sunday morning to repair multiple fractures of her lower arm (both bones in her forearm).

Keep her in your thoughts and prayers as I'm sure she's disappointed to start the season off like this. Parents and grandparests drove 11 hours to watch what happend.

On the upside what a great crowd we had in Eppler for the first meet of the season. Thanks to everyone who made that possible and hopefully we can see the same turnout next Saturday!!!

A ton of good orange and brown vibes from me! Speedy recovery, Kasey!
