Whoo Hoo!!! That is excellent! They actually played in Cincy today? Did it not snow down there this past weekend???

We'll take it! BG is now 5-6 and has won 4 straight. The Falcons travel to Murray State for a 3 game series this weekend.

GO FALCONS

Nice non-conference win, over a Big East team as well (should have also beaten Villanova). UC has a very nice baseball stadium. They have Fieldturf if I remember correctly, so obviously, it was cleared off to play. Three-game series at Murray State this weekend, let's keep it going and win this series.

I was also surprised they played today, they had blizzard warnings over the weekend thanks to the big snow storm. 33 is right they do have field turf at UC's baseball stadium, but even with the turf I didn't think they would get the place ready that fast. I haven't got to see a game there but I have been by it, and it is a very nice stadium

I'd like to see something half as nice as what UC has at BG. It's one of the nicer northern college baseball stadiums I have been to. Nice seating, press box, field dimensions, nice setting, etc.

Nice win indeed! How good is UC? Still a good win regardless especially after a rough start.

After talking to some of the people involved, they said there was not a bit of snow, anywhere to be seen on the field and they even watered the infield pregame! GC needs to add another million to the "possible" upgrades for our facility for Field Turf!

WHO'S THE GUY WHO OWNS THE ORIOLES? SINCE ONE OF OUR BEST (FORMER) PLAYERS IS IN HIS FARM SYSTEM, MAYBE WE CAN NAME OUR "NEW" STADIUM AFTER HIM (ASSUMING HE PAYS FOR IT OF COURSE)...JUST LIKE SCHOTT DID.

You are starting to see Fieldturf on more and more baseball fields too, mostly northern schools. Kent State has it in the MAC, as does two-time defending NCAA Champion Oregon State. I've also seen it at Washington State, Louisville, Illinois, Kansas State, and James Madison had it for its infield, etc. Ohio University has moved some of its home games, including this weekend's series against Purdue, over to Chillicothe to V.A. Memorial Stadium which has it as well.
