What a difference a weekend can make. Heading into this past weekend, BG was in the hunt for one of the top seeds. After the sweep by KSU, BG is now fighting for one of the last spots in the MAC Tournament. There's still lots of baseball left, but the Falcons have lost their last four MAC games and they must get things turned around next weekend at Miami. We're actually going to be in Oxford next weekend so we'll be there for a couple of the games and hopefully we can help cheer BG on to a win or two. Preseason MAC favorite Kent State is really looking the part now. After starting 0-5 in the MAC, KSU has won seven straight conference games and has gone from last to first in the MAC East in two weekends. All 12 of the MAC schools are still in the running for the eight seeds with four weekends to go.
