I'm happy for him and his opportunity but sad to see him go. This was a blow to our pitching staff. Best of luck to him.

Good luck to him. Your right he will be a loss in the rotation.

Just a thought. There are a ridiculous number of rounds in baseball. If he decided to come back and had even a similiar to slightly better year, isn't there a chance he could get drafted and get more money than signing a undrafted contract?
