Volleyball Sweeps Division Leader Miami

BG volleyball swept the division leader, Miami, 3-0 in front of a loud crowd on "pink out" night at AA. First 2 sets were won convincingly with awesome digs from Meeks, and some high flying kills. 3rd set Miami played much better but not good enough as the Falcons crush the Red Hawks. BG is now tied with Miami for the division lead, and have won 9 of their last 10 matches. The Falcons have a big match saturday against MAC leader Western Michigan. Lets fill the stands once again!! GO FALCONS!!!

One word to describe tonight's game: awesome. Awesome performance all around by the girls tonight. There is no way I'm missing the WMU game Saturday, I know that means skipping hockey, and I hate that I have to do it, but this game with WMU is huge. With OU down the MAC is wide open, I can't wait for the conference tourney at SeaGate, its gonna be great.

Also not to nitpick but its just Meek, not Meeks

What an AWESOME result! Way to go, BG! The Falcons are now 19-7, 8-3 MAC, and tied with Miami and Ohio for first in the East.

Tomorrow is a tough call....but the Freaklings and I will go to AA after the football game to see the VBall match. We want to go to hockey as well but their season just started and we'll be up for a few hockey games thru the winter. Who knows? Maybe BG can sweep WMU quickly and we can get over to the Ice Arena for the last period or two of the hockey game. Now THAT would be great.

Wow. This is a very pleasant surprise. I didn't think we had the horses to take Miami much less a sweep but always glad to be wrong. Now let's try to do it again vs WMU.
