Is anyone besides me planning on traveling to support the Women's soccer team friday?? It would be awesome to get a little falcon section together up there. UT fans are gunna be out in full force, its important that we represent, and.......its ONLY 20 MILES!!!!!

I suppose I can excuse that, as volleyball is my new 3rd favorite sport!! But this could be my last chance to see soccer in action this year, I can't miss it!!!

Scream for the Freaks....Coach Richards is a great coach and BG had another solid season. This is the 7th consecutive season BG has qualified for the MAC Tourney and 9th time in the program's 12 varsity seasons. And beating UT in anything is always the way to go.

The winner of #4 BG & #1 UT will play the winner of #3 EMU and #2 CMU...title match is Sunday @ 1.

UT scores with 8:08 left in regulation to get past BG 1-0. Man, these two teams have had some awesome battles over the last few years....Dang. That sux.

BG ends the year 12-6-4. UT moves on to the title match Sunday at 1 against EMU...a 2-0 winner over CMU.

That loss has to hurt the team. I know it hurt me. They played so hard, fought the whole way. I feel for them. But they can hold their heads high. They have played the Rockets as tough as any team can. Not much doubt that TSUN will be MAC champions again. We were very VERY close. Time to start working for next year!!

Sounds like play in the goal was the difference. Congrats on a great season Falcons.

I thought both goalies played very well. BG's goalie had a couple great saves and there is no way the goal can be blamed on her. Really there was no difference in this game. We had three or four shots that could/should have went in. Toledo has some close ones too, but they got lucky, we didnt. No one to blame in this one. Just a great soccer game.

Didn't see the game- the BG write-up says the goalie let a couple get behind her but got saved by the D. Of course it also says BG scored the only goal but lost 1-0 so go figure.

.....and your post on NCAAbbs says, "Rockets Destroy Falcons", which isn't a very accurate statement either!
