Womens Rugby Raffle in the Union

Post by The Niz »

Is raffling off an OSU basket, Aren't you all excited to go give them money for that sh!t? Sorry if anyone finds my reaction inappropriate, it just irked me to see our own athletes (club or not they still wear a BGSU uniform) selling gear from other schools.

Not going to anymore Women's Rugby games. I usually make it to a couple Men's and Women's Rugby matches each year cause its nice to watch them dominate everyone. Women will be left out of that from now on.
Yeah right girl!

The fault lies in the people who get a chub over OSU sports with no affiliation to the school, not the ones doing the fundraising. If the rugby team is able to raise more money for their sport, because a bunch of OSU t-shirt alumni idiots would rather have an OSU basket than a BG basket, more power to them. With club sports, you have to do whatever you can to raise enough money to survive.

While the "OSU problem" at BG frusturates no one more than I, the change in thinking there has to start at a larger level than a raffle for a club sport. I certainly understand your frustration though.
