BGSU baseball in Florida

Well BG realy put it to a team from Rhode Island yesturday. 11-3 and it could have should have been worse!
Today's game against Eastern Kentucky will be a test.

Yeah, they beat Fairfield University who has also struggled so far. Hopefully this win will help get some momentum going for the season and MAC play.


EKU beat Louisville and had a close loss to Kentucky.

BG beat Eastern Kentucky Sunday 8-4

Western Carolina also took 2 of 3 from USC....yes University of Southern California, so the Falcons early schedule has not exactly been full of patsys!

BG drops back to back games in FLA...

The Falcons lost to Bucknell Monday, 10-7, and were blasted by UConn yesterday, 21-6. :( The Huskies had 16 hits on the day.

BG is now 2-2 on the FLA trip and will play Sacred Heart tomorrow at 9 AM followed by a game Friday at 10 AM against Northern Iowa. Two Saturday games complete the trip vs Indiana and Bradley.

BG is now 2-8 on the season...GO FALCONS>

BG shut out Sacred Heart 1-0 and Northern Iowa, 3-0 yesterday.

Today, Indiana beat BG 15-7 and BG will play Bradley in a few minutes.

BG is currently 4-9....

BG ended up 5-3 in Florida. What a great schedule they've played so far this year. 5-9 over the last 3 weeks. This kind of schedule gets you ready for league play. We still have 4 pitchers hurting but will be at 100% pretty soon. We will be a force by tournament time.

5-3 and a week in Florida...not a bad deal at all.
