Just because we love beating that school up north...

BG tennis team defeated the rockettes yesterday, 4-3 in a dual match. The win snapped a 3 match winning streak for ut and now BG leads the all time series, 22-14.

Man, if it wasn't for men's hoops, ut would lead BG in NOTHING.
BTW, the tennis team beat EMU today, 6-1. BG is now 9-4, 2-1 MAC.

Add in a couple of wins by the softball team over PUTU and BG winning THEIR Track Classic and it was a very good weekend for Falcon fans and an embarassing one for the SCUDS!

That's always good news there!

Wow. Shows how ignorant I am. UT actually leads the all-time series in men's hoops against us? I would not have thought that. How much of an edge do they have on us? Just curious.

SFF,
After BG's win this season, I believe the series stands 83-76, in ut's favor.

This year, though, BG has had TSUN's number. Just going from memory, did they beat us in men's hoops? Nope.
Football? Nope.
Women's hoops? Uh uh. Beat em twice.
Softball? Obviously not. Tennis? Same thing.
The only thing I can remember is women's soccer, in a really close game at their place -- their first home win against us in like a decade. And, we had tied them at our place a few days before.
Maybe TSUN beat us in swimming or something, but I think BG has had the better of the battles this year so far...

I wish there was a trophy between BGSU and Toledo that's awarded yearly to the school that does better head to head in all sports. Duke and North Carolina have one. Needless to say we'd be in possession of it.

Thanks for the knowledge Freak. So, in about 3-4 years we'll have a leg up on 'em in mens b-ball too.
