It appears he made the jump to AAA Norfolk. Hopefully he gets a call up this year. He is listed on the 40 man roster.

Hopefully it's the end of June. Norfolk is in Indy June 11-14. :-D

Going to the opener tonight? Got the company tickets, looks like there may be another freebie in the air tonight, I don't know that it will get to 60 degrees. :-D

I wish, I work until 7:00 tonight. Our first game is in May. We go to alot of the Sunday afternoon games where we can sit in the sun and enjoy some adult beverages. I think they will be given out some free tix.

Ah. I think I'll have two games under my belt by May. (Definitely if the temp stays down tonight!) Ironically, I think tonight will be the fourth straight Indians game I've attended where Jason Davis is the starter.

I have never figured why Mike Hessman has not received more of a shot with Detroit. I know he is a power hitter who strikes out, but he is strong defensively.

Anyways, Nolan 2for 4 in his AAA debut with a HR and 2B.

You were wise to stay away from that one... 16-5 the Indians fall on an increasingly chilly night. Though in tonight's "check the record books moment", the Indians led off the season with back-to-back triples. Then Toledo added a pair of triples in the top of the second. Odd. But it was 59 at first pitch, so FREE TICKETS! :-D

Back on topic... Good job Nolan!!! Keep it up!

Hi everyone! I'm back, at least for now.

Nolan been on my Developmental Roster for two years now and it sounds like I might get the chance to play him sooner rather than later.

From my CBS Sports fantasy league:

Orioles outfield prospect Nolan Reimold is hitting an amazing .417 with six homers (two Sunday) and 19 RBI in only 16 games back at Triple-A Norfolk. Orioles manager Dave Trembley has noticed, reports MASNsports.com. "He ended spring training on a real upswing," Trembley said Monday. "I talked to our scouts about him. He's off to a real nice start and I hope it continues because he's a guy that we all feel can help us. When that is, I'm not sure, but I know he is probably a lot further along than we all anticipated at this particular point in time."
(Updated 04/27/2009).

Fantasy Analysis
Reimold is a future 30-homer threat and a potential June 1 call-up for the Orioles, who are slotting guys like underwhelming Felix Pie and Luke Scott in left. Scott primarily DHs, so Reimold could be called up even before June 1. "If he came here, I would think the opportunity would be for him to play, not be a reserve," Trembley said. Reimold would be an impact player in all AL-only and some deeper mixed leagues right now.[/quote]

That would be awesome if he was called up by June 1. But like TG mentioned earlier, for selfish reasons, he is scheduled to play in Indy later in June. :-)

What a great outlook for Nolan!!! I knew there was a reason I became an Orioles fan this season!!! Actually, it was probably due to the trip I made to Camden yards the same day I proposed to my fiancee. The Orioles definitely have a special place in my life and I am really following them a lot this year...good luck Nolan!!!
