Overall preview is out. Ball State is picked to win the West.
West player of year: Kolbrin Vitek, Ball State
West pitcher of year: Trent Howard, CMU
Bowling Green was picked to finish 1st overall, Smith and Elkins were preseason players of the year overall.

Aaron Fitt, Baseball America's lead college baseball writer, picked Bowling Green as a mid major team that could make national noise this season.
"They are my pick to win the MAC, and are loaded."

I heard that the team is battling some injuries, hopefully they get healthy before next week. Nice to see some more national recognition
