The Rams have an RPI of 175..not good to give up 9 runs to a team like this. Looks like young pitchers were in the game late as the Rams scored 3 in the 9th.

The GREAT news from the game is that Frank Berry threw two effective innings in his first outing of the year after an injury. Coach Schmitz alsways uses the spring trip for players to earn a starting spot or play themselves out of one, so don't be too alarmed with the record. They will come back home at about .500 and start working on their 3PEAT!!!!!!!

I just wish they would put up the box score from the Northeastern game and that the Rhode Island box score was correct. :\
Hopefully they will come away with a win this morning!

Solid pitching led BG to a 3-1 win over Butler yesterday! Kevin Leady struck out 8 batters in 8 innings of work and gave up just 6 hits. Ross Gerdeman got his first career save as well.
BG will play Sacred Heart today at 5...
GO BG!~

Surprised that Sacred Heart went for the field goal instead of throwing one into the end zone and going for the onside kick. Clawson's going for two after each BG score was a bold move, though. God, I hate aluminum bats.
