BGSU Men's Soccer 2010...

Quick shout out to Coach Eric Nichols and the men's soccer team for a 3 game improvement over 2009. Seeing as BG hasn't had a winning season in 8 years, it was good to see this team compete hard in every match. Gone are 7-1 and 6-0 butt kickings at the hands of opponents...BG went 6-9-3, 3-3 in the MAC. There were only 4 SR's this year so almost everyone will be back next yr. BG played Akron well, losing 2-0. The ugly match of the year was losing 5-0 at #8 Butler. BG's only other match against a ranked team was losing to #10 Mich State, 2-1, at home.

I know soccer isn't the most popular sport around here or the country but it still a Falcon athletic team...GO BG.

Looks good to get over the .500 hump next year.
