A little surprised there was no mention of the track meet hosted by BG this weekend. Not every year you get to host the MAC championships in something. A pretty credible job in my opinion. Events were on time for the most part and seemed to run smoothly. I would have liked to see ALL the scores at any given time instead of just the top five but the heat, place and time scoring was very visible and well done. Seating was horrendous but that's not uncommon at indoor events. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to HJ off the surface in the turf area but it didn't seem to have much of an adverse affect-heights were lower than I would have expected- I think only 3 jumpers went over two meters. Track is about the only sport where spectators can mingle with coaches and athletes and its always fun to watch and listen up close.
Anyway, congrats on what appeared to be a well run event.
Track? anyone? anyone?
