I found this to be interesting in the release -
As a coach at Stephen F. Austin, Snelling has overseen training for the student-athletes and handled all recruiting of distance and mid-distance student-athletes. He has been involved with scheduling, fundraising, and the academic success of the teams.
Hopefully we'll see some activity on the scholarship front for the squads.

Stephen Austin is a power at their level and this guy was a big part of it. BG has decent facilities but absolutely no track tradition on the ladies' side. He'll have a tough time recruiting in Ohio to start but he certainly has some credentials to help him.
