Baseball Fundraiser

Was this open to the "public"?
If so, was it advertised?
Show our Spirit,
Make them Fear it,
Fight for Dear Bee Gee.

It is certainly open to the public and the tickets are sold by the team members, so if you don't know anyone on the team or coaching staff or an alumni player or "friend" of the program, you probably didn't get contacted. If you are interested, I am sure they would put you on the list in future years by emailing the baseball office.
It might be a good idea to put a mention on here in future years, as baseball needs the money badly to makeup for all of the budget cuts they have suffered thru in the past couple of years.

Didn't they used to have a golf outing to raise funds?

Yeah, I know. I was just stirring the pot a bit. I can't recall the logic behind it though.

Remember.....all the outings got combined into one and it FLOPPED big time, so in GC's infinite wisdom, they went back to having individual outings after a couple of years, but................you had to give $100 of each player fee to the Falcon Club. Simply makes it not worthwhile having it and it has cost the department many thousands of $$$ over the past few years.
