Baseball beats Kent State in 14 innings!

Falcons with a 6-5 win as BG gets a walk off hit by pitch. I don't care how we win, just win. BG and Kent State were to play today at 1PM. Yesterday was KSU's first MAC loss of the year.

Another little-league-style rally today! Despite the best efforts of Factman and Drago, I find myself rooting for, and getting excited about, this team. A chance for a sweep tomorrow!

Kent salvages the final game of the series Sunday by a final score of 31-20. There were 45 hits between the two teams and five errors a piece. I wasn't in attendance, but I would have to assume the wind was blowing out today.

That may be more points than KSU football will score in any football game this year.

I had to read that score twice when I first saw it over on bgsufalcons.com. Damn....31-20??? How many times do you see a team score 20 runs and get blown out??? BG was down 10-0 before even coming to the plate. Obviously a good series for BG (especially winning a series against Kent State) but whew, today has to go down as one of the stranger games one will see. Gotta go down to Oxford next weekend and get a few more now.

I couldn't believe that score, either. At least BG won the weekend...BEAT MIAMI!
