BG hits the road for 2 games at Miami tomorrow. Then, the Falcons will play single games at Ball State Sat and Sun. BG is currently 14-4 MAC, Miami is 13-5 and Ball State is 13-3 MAC. Needless to say this is huge for title implications and tourney seeding. Looking forward to see the Falcons play at Firestone Stadium in Akron for the MAC tourney. GO FALCONS!!! Bring home the MAC title!!

BG and Miami split Friday in Oxford. MU won game 1, 3-2, while BG took the second game, 3-1. Ball State swept tsun and leads the MAC with a 15-3 conference mark. BG is now 15-5 and will play two games at Ball State today and Sunday. BG needs to win both to win the MAC. BG is still a game ahead of Miami (14-6 MAC) in the East. Ball State has already secured one of the top two seeds, which gives them a double bye into the 2nd day of the MAC Tourney. BG and Miami will battle for the other top seed and MU will host tsun today. Right down to the wire...

GO BEEG!!! SWEEP BSU AND WIN THE MAC!!!!

Ball State shut out BG, 6-0, and wins the MAC regular season title. To make matters worse, Miami shut out tsun, 5-0, so now BG and MU are tied at the top of the East at 15-6. Ball State is 16-3 MAC. BG must win tomorrow to clinch a share of the East title. IF BG loses and MU wins, MU will get that 2nd bye as the 2nd seed.

Dang...didn't work out for BG. Falcons lose to Ball State, 8-5, and MU beat tsun to claim the East title. BG finishes the regular season 35-20, 15-7 MAC. The MAC Tournament begins Wed May 9th and the Falcons still get a first round bye. BG will play the winner of the CMU/Kent State game, first pitch at 7:30PM, Firestone Stadium here in Akron. Looks like I'm gonna take the night off work to go hang at the stadium. LOL

Still, a great year for BG!
