Not just an ugly weekend, an ugly season. I know we have had some very tough injuries which didn't help one bit, but it's strange that half of our total of MAC wins this year has come against the top two teams in the MAC East. But the rest of the MAC has really taken it to us this season. I'm a football/basketball/baseball guy and it's be another LONG season as a Falcon fan....again. No bowl for football, basketball fell flat on its face in the MAC first round and baseball looks like it won't even qualify for the tournament at all.Falconfreak90 wrote:ut takes game 2....dang, getting to be an ugly weekend.
GO BG!!!
Re: BG/UT (baseball)
Injuries certainly are a factor, but they become a MUCH bigger factor when you are operating with 2/3 the scholarships of those you are competing against, and those 4-6 players from those scholarships that you are missing, absolutley kills your depth to make up for some of those injuries.

Re: BG/UT (baseball)
UGH...BG drops the finale, 2-1 in 11 innings. We had the bases loaded with two outs and flied out in the bottom of the 11th. Also had chances in earlier innings and left too many men on base. tsun has had a pretty good season and were the better team all weekend.
BG is now 19-31, 8-16 MAC...no doubt out of the tourney. Three left at Buffalo next weekend.
