2014 Bowling Green Baseball

What's the scoop Factman? I don't know this team nearly as well as I do BG football and basketball. Could we make a return visit to Avon for the MAC Tournament again this year? Do we have enough to make another championship run? What's the lowdown on this year's team?

As usual, pitching and getting injuries healed up, will determine how we do. Depth will be a problem, due to the scholarship reductions from the previous administration. We just signed a huge incoming class, so hopefully they will be able to help with the depth.

If we make the MAC Tournament again, I will be back there to watch us. Mother Nature threw us a curve ball early on, but we sure made a helluva run. The 1-0 win over Toledo to put us into the championship game was nerve-wracking and exciting, but so sweet to win, especially because UT had just beaten us. And man was the win over Ball State to win the title great! I will likely make a MAC road game or two and home game or two during the season as well.

Baseball loses 5-4 at Murry State. Lancaster 3-5 and Shay 3-4. My guess is we had trouble adjusting to 65 degrees and sunny skies!

BGSU baseball canceled for Friday at High Point, NC. Will play two on Saturday instead on way to Florida.
