Does anyone know what happened to Apthorpe? I see he was already having a very tough year (1-6 record with an 8.79 ERA in 7 starts) but I see not only is he not in the weekend rotation any longer, he doesn't even appear to be pitching any more either. I can only guess he's injured as our pitching staff seems like it deals with a slew of injuries year after year after year.

Your first sentence is about all the explanation there is. In Cody's defense, he is trying to student teach during the baseball season, which I think, has affected his workouts and pitching effectiveness. Hopefully he can get back on track soon, and rejoin the rotation.
