Is now ranked #2 in the entire US with a throw of 223 ft....

Other than cheer, when have we had a team or individual athlete ranked that high?

Great work.
A few schools had 40 yard dash races during their spring football games between varsity athletes and members of the student body. How about an event by the track program where students see if they can throw various objects farther than she can?

..wins the MAC title today by about 15ft over Akron's Brittany Funk and sets a meet record in the process with a throw of 218-9. Amazingly....any one of her five throws would have beaten Funk , the #4 ranked thrower in the nation. I don't recall another BG athlete that put that much daylight between themselves and the rest of the field.

Set the MAC and school record today with a throw of 225-11'. For historical perspective, that's the 7th longest throw ever for a collegian.

Pleger wins the MAC title for the 3rd straight year with a throw of 228-9. She beat the second place athlete by 27 feet. Hell...her wort throw of the day would have won by 11 feet. She's probably the most dominant athlete in the MAC today

Onto Nationals at Eugene!
Brooke Pleger opens at 222-2 (67.73m). She just broke the East prelim AND stadium records!
Congrats Brooke. May see her in a few years in the Summer Olympics.
