Dropped all 3 matches to Dayton, MTSU and Pitt.

This will be work in progress all year with the 11 freshmen and sophs. Our coaches expectations, however, won't change. So we will need to step up as a team. Our setter and up front defense leader are seniors. Everybody else has limited- or no- college experience.

Potentially, though, we have the makings of a good team with the young hitters. That was a tough field last weekend. But we really could have/should have beaten two good teams in UD and MTSU.

Will be interesting to see how the next tourney goes this weekend.

I like this coaching staff and all the young talent. And our two seniors are out of the high school "MAC". Midwest Athletic Conference easily the best small high school athletic conference in Ohio and one of the best anywhere. So I know my neighbors E Fullenkamp and K Bates are winners!

BG beats Cal State Bakersfield, 3-2 tonight, in the Flyer-Raider Invitational In Dayton. First win of the year...two matches tomorrow: The Falcons will face IPFW, at 4-0 on the season, at 3 pm and Wright State, at 2-3 on the season, at 8 pm.

Falcons open MAC play losing 3-0 to Buffalo...BG is at Akron tomorrow at 5. Would go but football will still be on.
