Quite a weekend!

Post by Class of 61 »

It was a banner weekend for BG teams over the weekend....

Hockey team won + tied vs Alaska
Mens basketball rolled over OU
Womens gymnastics beat BiG Mich. St
Womems track scored 48 pts higher than last yrs score ( in same meet) in taking 1st place over 5 MAC schools :supz:
Oddly enough the only non winning team was the winningest team over past 10 yrs, women's basketball. Still playing with a limited roster due several season or career ending injuries, Falcons fell to Kent of all people, a team with only 2 wins this year.
It would appear that thechance of again qualifying for the post season is fadind fast as the ladies are now 7-7, with 2 more losses than all of last season. Again, hoping that the freshman continue to mature and adjust to conf. Play. Perhaps Erica Fullencamp can at least provide some depth, or at least provide another practice player. Rest of MAC has to be licking chops with chance to get back at Falcons. ](*,)
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
